EPIC Clay Studio is an arts program of Build WyCo. We build creative community and offer affordable, accessible clay classes to neighbors of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds. Clay is for everyone — come try it out!

Beginner's Pottery Wheel 2025
$125.00

A month-long, comprehensive overview of basic pottery wheel skills—no prior experience needed! Class sessions will be once a week for 4 consecutive weeks.

Over the course of the month, we’ll cover basic pottery wheel techniques including centering, trimming, and glazing! This class focuses on basic forms such as cups, mugs, bowls and plates. Class fee covers all clay, glazes and other supplies as well as kiln firings.

Friday Pottery Happy Hour: Beginner's Wheel or Handbuild 2025
$30.00

Try the pottery wheel or hand build (your choice) in this casual, hands-on afternoon class. No previous experience needed — bring some friends or make some new ones! Your instructor will give a beginner wheel and/or hand build lesson, depending on what y’all are interested in doing. You’ll make 1-2 pots and pick glazes at the end. Last minute sign ups are welcome, as long as there’s space!

Date Night: Pottery Wheel 2025
$85.00

Bring your date (or BFF or cool aunt) to a pottery wheel class at Epic! One registration per pair. Couples share a wheel, and each person will get two opportunities to throw. BYOB! Your pots will be fired, glazed, and ready to pick up one month after class. 

Saturday Queer Clay Club 2025
$25.00

We host a queer clay club class & potluck to celebrate our LGBTQIA2S+ friends and supporters! Register here to reserve your spot (1 ticket = 1 person), and start planning what sweet or salty treat you’re bringing to the table. This class is open to everyone! Must be age 18+.

Saturday Family Hand Building 2025
$10.00

A clay class where parents and children can get creative together! Practice hand building techniques as you each create your own unique project. Select a date and project theme below. One registration = one participant. At least one parent should participate along with their child/children. Ages 5+.

Saturday Kids' Pottery Wheel 2025
$10.00

A beginner-friendly pottery wheel experience for children 5-12! Students can expect to make 1-2 pots. Parents and guardians may drop their kids off, or stay to observe. Wear clothes that can get messy!

The Third Friday Art Walk
